Questions

The ones worth asking before you sign up.

What happens if a client never pays?

You owe nothing. The fee is charged on money that arrives. fuime keeps the invoice in the books as outstanding, not as income, so your year-end total stays honest.

Why 5%, and not less?

There is nothing underneath it: no setup fee, no per-invoice charge, no monthly bill, no upgrade to buy. Card processing comes out of it. The 50¢ floor is there because a card payment costs about 30¢ whatever its size.

What happens when I refund a client?

The reversal posts to the ledger and fuime's fee is rebated in proportion. A partial refund books the increment, not the running total.

Can a client cancel a subscription themselves?

No. A buyer cannot cancel a recurring offer on their own. They email support@fuime.com and we do it.

Does fuime ever hold the money?

Client payments settle to fuime's payment processor account, because Ninth Street Labs, LLC is the seller of record. What you see in the app is what fuime owes your venture, not a balance.

What happens when I turn 18?

Nothing resets. Your invoices, clients and books stay attached to the account, and the price stays the same. Moving the account itself out of your guardian's name is not built yet.
