You hand over the files.
Get paid first.

A shoot is a service, a gallery a digital good. fuime sells both.

Start your business

5% of collections, minimum 50¢. Nothing until a booking pays.

Under 18? A guardian holds the account; you shoot and invoice.

How a shoot gets paid now

The booking is professional until money starts.

Half up front

The money holding the date is a promise typed into a message thread.

The client who goes quiet

The gallery lands, the conversation ends, and the files are already on their laptop.

A number that moved three times

Scope crept over forty messages. In that argument the lowest figure always wins.

A named offer, a set price

An invoice with a number changes everything.

The package is the offer

Half-day, full-day, the highlight reel, the rush turnaround. Anywhere from $1 to $10,000.

The link survives a rename

Rename "Fall minis" in October and every link you already sent keeps working.

Or let them choose

A buyer can be asked for a free-chosen amount instead of a fixed one.

A storefront the client can read

/b/<business> lists everything you sell, in one public page.

A record of what was agreed

The agreement stops living in a thread.

One line per sale

fuime's fee posts as its own negative line, naming the rate actually charged.

Receipts pair to the line

The lens hire, the second card, the drive. Upload one or email it in.

Comments on the line itself

What changed on the day, when the gallery went out, beside the money.

A refund leaves no hole

It reverses and rebates the fee in proportion. A partial books the increment.

How the books and receipts work

Questions

What a shooter asks before switching.

Can I take money before the shoot and the rest after?

Yes, two ways. Publish the booking amount as its own named offer and the balance as another, or ask the buyer for a free-chosen amount. Both post to the ledger as ordinary sales.

Can I sell prints, albums or a USB?

No. The shoot, the edit and a delivered gallery are fine. A printed album, a framed piece or anything that ships in a box is not, and neither are food or crafts.

What will the charge say on my client's statement?

Fuime. Ninth Street Labs, LLC, doing business as Fuime, is the seller of record and Stripe processes the card. Worth mentioning before the shoot rather than after.

How that works.

What does a booking cost me?

5% of what you collect, with a 50¢ floor. A floor, not an additive fee: on a job you price at $400 the fee is $20.00, not $20.50.

Card processing of about 2.9% + 30¢ comes out of that 5% rather than out of you, because fuime is the legal seller and Stripe bills fuime. The full breakdown.

What if I have to refund a client?

A refund posts a reversal and rebates fuime's fee in proportion, so you are not paying a platform fee on money you gave back. A partial refund books the increment, not the running total.

When does the money for a wedding reach me?

A payout run is generated weekly, and a person approves it before anything moves: a 7-day hold, a 10% rolling reserve over 90 days, a $2,500 cap per run and a $10 floor.

Anyone skipped in a run is given a reason. There is no automated rail, and no promised date.

Do I have to be 18 to shoot for money?

No. From 13 up, a parent or legal guardian accepts a versioned agreement and becomes the account holder and legal payee, and you run the business. Signup refuses anyone under 13.

Nobody's identity is verified: the signature IP, user-agent, timestamp and document version are recorded, and that is all that is kept.

The edges

What fuime leaves to you.

Nothing physical, nothing abroad

Services and digital goods, in dollars, in the United States, in English.

No contract, no model release

It drafts no terms, holds no release, and does not decide who owns the files.

No sales tax, and no filing

Registered in zero jurisdictions. The tracker estimates income tax and stops.

No identity check, of anyone

Age is self-attested. Vetting is a person reading your application.
