You do the yard work.
Get paid without knocking.

Mowing, edging, hedges, gutters and hauling are services. fuime sells services.

Start your business

5% of collections, minimum 50¢. Nothing until a job pays.

Under 18? A guardian holds the account; you run the round.

How yard work gets paid now

Cash, a neighbour, and nothing written down.

Cash, folded, or not at all

The only ledger is the one you keep in your head between houses.

“I'll get you next week”

Nothing to point at, so you are back next Saturday working on credit.

A neighbour, not a client

He has known you for years, so a bill feels like changing the relationship.

No scope, so no argument you win

A sprinkler head goes under the blade, and the more embarrassed person pays.

The part nobody says

What you already do is a business.

Name it, and it exists

A public page at /b/<business>: weekly cut, one-off clear-out, leaves in November.

One link per job

Each offer gets /pay/<business>/<offer>. Text it before you load the mower up.

The books keep themselves

Every payment posts as a ledger line, with fuime's fee shown as its own.

Receipts for what the work costs

Fuel, line, blades, a trailer hire. Email it in and pair it.

What a payment link actually does

The line you may have crossed

$400 is closer than a summer of Saturdays.

It counts the year as it goes

Income in, expenses out, running net, checked against the IRS threshold.

$433.14, not $400

Schedule SE multiplies net earnings by 92.35% first. fuime shows the number it used.

An estimator, and only that

It calculates no sales tax, files nothing, and is not tax advice.

A packet somebody can hand over

Under 18, the guardian can download a tax packet for the year.

Questions

What people ask on the way in.

Is mowing something fuime can even sell?

Yes. Mowing, edging, hedge work, leaf clearing, gutters and hauling are services. What it cannot sell is anything physical you hand over: plants, mulch, food or crafts.

My clients pay cash. Why change?

Because cash leaves you nothing: no proof the job was done, no receipt for a client who wants one, no record of a year's work, and no document to point at when a payment is late.

What does a lawn cost me?

5% of what you collect, with a 50¢ floor. A floor, not an additive fee: on a clear-out you price at $400 the fee is $20.00, not $20.50.

Card processing of about 2.9% + 30¢ comes out of that 5% and is never added to your side. Outside the standard rate it is a conversation with sales, not a tier. The full breakdown.

Can I bill the same garden every month?

Yes. An offer can bill monthly or yearly, and renewals post to the ledger by themselves. Say one thing out loud first: a client cannot cancel it themselves. They email support@fuime.com and a person ends it.

How recurring works.

Who is the homeowner actually buying from?

Ninth Street Labs, LLC, doing business as Fuime. Stripe processes the card, and their statement will say Fuime, so it is worth telling them before the first payment rather than after. How that works.

When does a summer's money reach me?

Payout runs are generated weekly and a person approves every one before anything moves: a 7-day hold, a 10% rolling reserve over 90 days, a $2,500 cap per run and a $10 floor.

Any operator skipped in a run gets a stated reason. There is no automated rail and no promised date.

Do I have to be 18 to run a round?

No. From 13 up, a parent or legal guardian accepts a versioned agreement and becomes the account holder and legal payee, and you run the round. Under 13 cannot sign up at all.

Nobody's identity is verified: the signature IP, user-agent, timestamp and document version are recorded, and that is all.

Before you move a round across

Four things it will not fix.

It will not set your prices

No suggested rate, no range, and nowhere in the product to store one.

It will not chase anybody

You still send the link and you still knock. An unpaid one costs nothing.

No document, no check

Age is a checkbox you tick. Nothing is collected, checked or held.

You cannot sell the plants

Services and digital goods only, in dollars, in the US, in English.
