Paddle is far larger at it. The two places fuime differs are who it sells for and how it charges.
Including the sale sizes where fuime is the dearer one.
Paddle's scale
229 countries, 33 currencies, 19 checkout locales, 17 payment methods.
Registered in 100+ jurisdictions in its own name. fuime is registered in none.
About 25 entity types and 60 webhook events. fuime has three endpoints.
Built for recurring software billing at scale, which is where its depth is.
The arithmetic
Paddle sends products under $10 to custom pricing. We have not guessed.
| Fee | $1 | $5 | $10 | $100 | $1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paddle, 5% + 50¢ | Custom pricing | Custom pricing | $1.00 | $5.50 | $50.50 |
| fuime, 5% floored at 50¢ | $0.50 | $0.50 | $0.50 | $5.00 | $50.00 |
| fuime, as a share of the sale | 50% | 10% | 5% | 5% | 5% |
The floor
Paddle adds the two together. fuime takes the larger, capped at the sale: fifty cents cheaper above $10. Below it a $5 sale pays 10%, a $1 sale pays 50%. That is a reason not to use fuime.
The only merchant of record that will onboard one.
$1 to $10,000, each with its own payment page.
It posts as its own negative ledger line, naming the rate charged.
Every new business is reviewed by hand. Slower to start, and that is the trade.
Where fuime stops
No multi-currency, no localised checkout, no international payment method.
The 50¢ floor buys you no monthly fee, and it lands hardest here.
fuime files nothing. Its tracker estimates income tax against the IRS $400 threshold.
A subscriber emails support@fuime.com and a person ends it.
Services and digital goods. No physical goods, food, crafts or childcare.
Every merchant of record publishes one, and it binds where a page does not.
Start
5% of what you collect, minimum 50¢. Stripe's card fee of about 2.9% + 30¢ comes out of that, never on top.
Outside the standard rate, rushil@fuime.com. The mechanism both share: how you get paid.
